Sure PvE MAY be a little quicker with a more steady stream of xp, but the xp you can gain by running a solid guild group, or even a semi decent PUG is just amazing.Â
For example, at level 20 it takes roughly 120k experience to level. LOSING a Mourkain Temple (T2 Scenario) while putting up a fight, will net you somewhere between 8 and 10k xp. Sure you'll have the occasional spanking, netting next to nothing xp wise, but the majority of the time you will break 7k xp per game. Much better than the BG grind from WoW if you ask me.Â
Here's an example Mourkain Temple, from an Engineers perspective. This isn't me, but at least you can see the type of gameplay I go through in a scenario like this. You can also see some drops in there too, as it's nice to actually get some decent gear through a scenario.
In comparison to the way I play, I'm more of a "run and gun", whereas this guy seems to set up maybe a little to much. One thing of note you'll see at the end is the melee that an Engineer has. Utterly horrible. If you ask me it's almost a waste to even give them any type of melee style.Â
I'll try to fraps some things this weekend and post em, if anyone's interested.Â
Back to PvP'ing for me, or dare I say leveling.....victory is mine!Â

thanks for the insight, but i dont even notice leveling now as I'm having fun doing it. If I continue to have fun playing alone, and with friends, that wall can be as big as any i've ever seen and I wouldnt care a bit.

Also, it cant be that big of a wall, as I know several people that are 35+ right now and got there with relative ease.

Depends if you're doing it with friends. My archmage just hit 21, and hasn't done a single quest other than the scenario completion and player kill quests you pick up in the warcamps. Order queues are less than 1 minute at almost any time of day on my server, and doing it with 2 friends means I'm always laughing on Vent and have people watching my back so I don't get burnt out due to witch elf rape.
When we were Destro, we had to clear every quest in every chapter in every zone because scenario queues were so terrible. Having done it that way, straight pvp leveling seems like a godsend.

I agree, the leveling system in WAR is a delight.
If only it didn't have such a dodgy/bugged gameplay and animations, it just go too frustrating at the end, especially when I didn't even know what I was casting at times.
I got rank 34, had a ball leveling whilst PvP'ing .
As well as enjoying the PQ's and Open-RvR.
I look forward to the day I go back to Warhammer, when it is much more smoother to play.Â
