Just poking a bit of fun at people who like to take a bit of conversational rumination and turn it into full-fledged fact. Mark Jacobs did jaw a bit about the expansion pack, but said it wouldn't be gearing up for development for quite a while, and even when that happens, the x-pack would take some time to hit the shelves:Folks,
Just so you know, we haven't begun work on an XPack yet and aren't going to until we get a lot more done in WAR. The expansion can wait a little longer but the main game can't. We are not pushing an XPack out the door at the expense of WAR. And once we begin work on an XPack, it's going to take us quite a while to do it. We're still at the talking stages and while we think we have some rather interesting ideas, it's not time yet to even go to GW to get their blessing.
FYI, as I've said even during early development, I'm a big fan of the Vampire Counts...
Also, some of you folks have hit on a few of the same things we've talked about at Mythic.
Mark
So! Vampire Counts and you: a love story! I think the undead races would be a no-brainer for expansion pack love, but only if Order got a race that's just as cool as whatever they'd add to Destruction ("So, Destruction gets the Vampire Counts, and Order gets... urm... hm... Girl Scouts!").

It would be really cool if people would just post their blogs in the correct section of this site.
Your "forums dance" thing was not funny - at all.
And what the hell was the point of this post? "Hey guys, there's no news about an expansion, but somehow and for some ****** up reason there's news in that."
Then you finish it up making one of the most non-sensical comparisons (it isn't a joke because it isn't funny, fyi) between "Vampire Counts" and girl scouts? Hell, you even had to type out the thought process of coming up with such a bad idea.
tl;dr: gtfo.

I'd like to see Lizardmen for Order (which would be hard to explain), Skaven for Destruction (almost as hard). I'd be surprised if GW gave permission for Vampire Counts considering how powerful they are. Mightaswell put in Tomb Knights..

These trolling comments are getting a little old.
For you folks who just happened upon Waaagh, let me enlighten you.
Syp, single-handedly, created and maintained Waaagh as a Wordpress blog for some time. During this period of the blog's life, he brought in over half a million page hits. On his own. With no advertising. TL;DR: GTFO.
On top of that, Waaagh has been acknowledged in the Warhammer Newsletter. More importantly, Mark Jacobs (you know, the most important person at Mythic) has stated that he enjoys reading Syp's work and values his opinion.
This all came to pass because Syp writes what he wants, how he wants to write it. Is it always "breaking news"? No, nor should it be. This is his blog and its continued success will be because it continues to operate as it always has.
So, to all of you trolls, if you think you can do better... try. Seriously. Getting a loyal readerbase is harder than it looks.
And to Syp, don't let them get you down. They're the unfortunate result of being put in a blog portal. The people who come to your blog enjoy the way you run it and wouldn't want it any different.

That's all fine and dandy. However, it does not change the fact that he's posting on the wrong gameriot portal. Get to Chaos Moon and he can post whatever he wants to. Here it's just crap, and he will be trolled.

My bet for new Order race are lizardmen. Not that hard to explain either. They are in fact oldest race in Warhammer world and also oldest foes of chaos. They also thought elves their fancy sparks of doom (High Magic).

Having Lizardmen would be a perfect compliment to skaven, who absolutely hate each other. Lizardmen more or less hate all things chaos, so that works too. Just that they don't really care for the order races, either.

I would like to see the Lizardmen and Skaven myself. Sure it is a bit hard to explain, but that's what good writers get paid for! However I do think that Chaos has a bigger pool of new races to pull from. I also think the Beastmen would be great have in an expansion....Minotaurs(Doombulls), Bray-Shamans, Bestigors, Centigores, and Dragon Ogres(NPCs)!
