It's a (not so) lazy Sunday around these here parts, so I thought I'd throw out a bit of "fluff" to you guys in the form of a seven favorites list -- and then double-dog dare readers and other bloggers to submit their own list of favorites in Warhammer Online.Here's the list (explanations are up to the writer):
- Favorite Zone
- Favorite Race
- Favorite Career
- Favorite WAR Feature
- Favorite Skill
- Favorite Scenario
- Favorite Live Event
- Favorite Zone - Chaos Wastes, as it's just terrifically moody, warped and actually a bit spooky. The perfect Halloween zone!
- Favorite Race - Surprisingly, the Greenskins. I know I play Order and all, but I have to give props to WAR for making an "ugly" race seem so appealing, particularly the Orcs (who, in other MMOs, I usually despise).
- Favorite Career - Engineer, baby! Lots of fun, lots of utility, and a sassy look. If I was to go back and start the game over on last September 18, I'd still roll an engie.
- Favorite WAR Feature - The Tome of Knowledge (self-explanatory).
- Favorite Skill - Napalm, because it's fun to wing a carpet of death from miles away and watch Destro skeedaddle out of it. Even if they don't take any damage, it's still worth it for the annoyance factor.
- Favorite Scenario - Khaine's Embrace, since I like things that go BOOM and then I outrun the fireball in slow motion!
- Favorite Live Event - Heavy Metal... easy to gain rewards, a new scenario, excitement over the upcoming classes.

Favorite Zone - Hard one! but i'm going to go with High Pass. (mostly because I have a thing for Norse Mythology and the whole snowy north thing strikes my rpg fancy)
Favorite Race - Chaos, kinda goes with what I said above
Favorite Career - Marauder, although my favorite class  because of mechanics is the Warrior Priest
Favorite WAR Feature - RvR, It could be and needs to become better, but its still better than anything else out there
Favorite Skill - My  Marauder's "Touch of Rot".  Spreads an agonizing rot to your opponent for 10 seconds, inflicting 150 damage whenever they use a melee ability (at 40). I love throwing this on a Witch hunter and seeing them kill themself.
Favorite Scenario - Lost Temple of Isha. I never get to play it enough. Â I love that it is objective based, but still has some of the best open fighting.
Favorite Live Event - Heavy Metal, It was easy to get the needed influence, it gave great rewards, and the limited time only scenario was a blast. More please!

Favorite Zone: Inevitible City. This might be cheating, but I love the city (which is also a zone!) because its so alive and there's tons of small things just hiding around.
Favorite RaceL: Greenskins. I love da boyz, and eagerly await the Choppa.
Favorite Career: Squig Hunter, even though I don't have one. So frail, yet such a fun character.
Favorite WAR Feature: I also have to go with the Tome of Knowledge. I'm trendy.
Favorite Skill: Monstrous Rending. I love to give hell to those nicely grouped up healers.
Favorite Scenario: Talebec Dam. Boom!
Favorite Live Event: Night of Murder - but its the only one I've completed so I'm biased. I was temporarily gone for the Heavy Metal event.

* Favorite Zone - Praag. I love the large burning city.
* Favorite Race - Dwarves. Always have been my favorite.
* Favorite Career - I'd have to say Marauder. Witch Hunter is a close second, though.
* Favorite WAR Feature - The RvR, especially the scenarios.
* Favorite Skill - Burn! Heretic! The name and the animator are just too wonderful.
* Favorite Scenario - Battle for Praag.
* Favorite Live Event - Heavy Metal. Night of Murder is close second, but lacks in some aspects.
* Favorite Race - Dwarves. Always have been my favorite.

Favorite Zone - Talabecland. This had the most immersive chapter storyline for me (Empire Ch 14). Rounding the corner of a farmhouse and coming face to face with a Spawn of Nurgle was absolutely terrifying.
Favorite Race - Dark Elves. With emotions ranging from thinly veiled disgust to completely open disgust, the quest text is always fun to read.
Favorite Career - Bright Wizard. There can be no real victory unless your opponent is on fire.
Favorite WAR Feature - Title Unlocks. Right now mine is "Bloody Postmaster"
Favorite Skill - Withering Heat. It's the only reason my Bright Wizard doesn't finish every fight with 10% health.
Favorite Scenario - Reikland Factory. Having four objectives makes the game more strategic, and there are usually several good fights going on at once. I will weep with joy if Mythic puts this scenario back in the game.
Favorite Live Event - Heavy Metal. See above.
Favorite Race - Dark Elves. With emotions ranging from thinly veiled disgust to completely open disgust, the quest text is always fun to read.
Favorite Career - Bright Wizard. There can be no real victory unless your opponent is on fire.
Favorite WAR Feature - Title Unlocks. Right now mine is "Bloody Postmaster"
Favorite Skill - Withering Heat. It's the only reason my Bright Wizard doesn't finish every fight with 10% health.

* Favorite Zone - Reikland.  Uneven terrain everywhere and tents.
* Favorite Race - Gobbo's. Da bestest.
* Favorite Career - Shaman - very disappointed we aren't the class the W:AR homepage says we are but happy because it does fulfill one of the roles I enjoy, pure healer.
* Favorite WAR Feature - Nothing in particular stands out in WoW
* Favorite Skill - Tie between Eeeek! (for effect) and Look Over there! (for animation)
* Favorite Scenario - Of the ones that have happened I guess Gromil's Crossing which is odd because it's the large scale SC and I generally prefer small scale fighting. But, I have yet to see all SC's even with only queueing for targeted ones only
* Favorite Live Event - None of the three stand apart from the other two for quality.
* Favorite Race - Gobbo's. Da bestest.
