I doubt they'll come about. I've played a handful of games now with a no official forums stance (DAoC being one ...) and I've never seen one reneg. Every game that hasn't had them has had devs with very good reasons for not having official forums and very vocal people demanding them. Frankly, I have  hard enough time reading War Hammer alliance due to all the crap, and official forums would likely ruin any delusions I might have that I'm actually playing on a roleplaying server. I simply wouldn't read them.

I think forums for a friendly, casual, PvE games work ok. LoTRO has great forums, so does EQ2. WAR is too big, and too focus on PvP to have anything less than a WoW-forum like whine fest and demands for dev attention. The vast numbers of the WAR community simply aren't friendly and they don't get along well. It would be really terrible PR and I think they know it.

Hrm, just a few huh?

Tome Titan - You've been asking for a lot of the stuff in the ToK to be opened up. Tome Titan has sections for History and Lore, Bestiary and Noteworthy Person sections that detail all the unlocks by zone with map markers and such. One of my favorite mods

zMail Mod- Could.not.live. without this mailbox mod. Honestly, Mythic needs to learn from this and add all it's features to the mail. There's mass mail, allowing you to send pig piles of things to an alt without needing to send individual mails. There's highlight and "open all" that opens all messages you've checked and gets the items from them and a "select all money" button that does that same thing with all your gold from auctions. Saves a ton of time.

As long as the "knockdown focused" hammerer is out, I'm a happy girl. I'm just hoping that Slayer is a little less over powered than the rest of the dwarf classes.

I know you don't often reply to comments but as you're the only PT Order player that I know and you brough up scenerios I have to ask ... do you ever lose? -.-

Tounge in cheek aside, how is your win/lose ration? Do you feel that Destro puts up a fight often enough or do most seem to be a straight steam roll?  I'm very curious how things appear from the other side.

I think everone is getting a bit too worked up about this. Having seen exactly what an uncapped fortress battle looks like on one of the largest servers (PT) I can say, with that kind of numbers no one is ever going to manage to take a fortress within one hour unless it's late at night or very early in the morning... perhaps. There comes a point when the numerical advantage that offensive would need to have over defensive becomes larger than the server could ever provide given the size of the defense. It isn't as if 300 vs 350 is exactly a tactical fight anyway, I think putting a cap on the zerg is brilliant. And I really doubt that many on Order side PT would disagree given how many battles they've lost over the past week due to just insane defense numbers and their own vast, vast numbers of sub 35s borking up any hope of taking down the Lord.

The mention of keeping low levels from crashing the zone is actually really spot on as well. I've been at fortress battles where I could see three or four people on the ramparts spamming banners specifically trying to crash the zone so the other side doesn't win. Calling in every member of your guild regardless of level to bloat the zone to cash as a defensive measure really was the next step.

I may be in the minority, but I think it's a great idea, and if people could get over their semi self-rightous "everyone who wants to come should be able to" mindset they'll see that in practice it's a good idea. It's still a freaking epic fight, just not stupidly so.
